Merimbula Star-hair by Linda Sass
Come along to Tura Library on 7 September from 9.30am-4pm and learn about the Merimbula Star-hair, a local endangered plant species, and the conservation efforts to help save it. Watch a short presentation at the Tura Library before heading out for a day in the bush with threatened species experts to undertake surveys in local reserves. This event, held on National Threatened Species Day, is a great opportunity for local residents interested in threatened species to not only learn more about this beautiful plant, but to also be part of its conservation.
Featured species: Merimbula star-hair.
Hosted by NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service, Atlas of Life in the Coastal Wilderness, Bega Valley Shire Council.
