If you’d like to learn how to identify and control Asparagus fern and Bridal creeper, come along to a workshop hosted by Pambula Landcare with support from Far South Coast Landcare Association and South East Local Land Services. Experienced bush regenerator, James Cook, will demonstrate the best techniques for controlling these two weeds that commonly invade our coastal and surrounding areas. This includes learning how to prepare and spread rust spore water.

When: Saturday July 30th, 2016, 9:30 am

Where: Lions Park (off Coraki Drive and just north of the river mouth) in Jiguma Reserve, Pambula

Program:
– morning tea and an introduction
– Asparagus Fern and Bridal Creeper identification
– control consideration and techniques
– a demonstration on how to make Bridal rust spore water, and
– an opportunity to distribute spore water, weather permitting.
