Dr Will Steffen

Dr Will Steffen, PhD is visiting our area this Wednesday, June 22 at 6.00pm to discuss climate change, including coastal erosion and the global context.

The discussion will be hosted by Dr Matthew Nott at the Tathra Primary School Auditorium, Bega Street, Tathra.

Dr Steffen is an Emeritus Professor at the Fenner School of Environment & Society ANU College of Medicine, Biology and Environment. His interests span a broad range within the fields of sustainability and Earth System science, with an emphasis on the science of climate change, approaches to climate change adaptation in land systems, incorporation of human processes in Earth System modelling and analysis; and the history and future of the relationship between humans and the rest of nature.
