A Coastal Saltmarsh Biodiversity Workshop was held in Bermagui on 27th June, 2018. Botanist Jackie Miles led a walking tour of two Saltmarsh areas, explaining the ecology and identifying plant species. The workshop was organised by Andrew Morrison from Bega Valley Shire Council and was hosted by Danie Ondinea from the Friends of Bermagui Saltmarsh group.

If you missed the workshop or would like to learn more about this endangered vegetation community, a Saltmarsh feature is now available on the Atlas of Life in the Coastal Wilderness. This feature was created after the workshop with photos, information and a series of short videos of Jackie Miles talking about the different plants that make up the Saltmarsh community. What a great resource!
