Managing weeds and vertebrate pest animals is an important part of looking after the native flora and fauna on your property. Come along to a CMN Workshop with Bega Valley Shire Council and Local Land Services and find out how the new Biosecurity Act that covers weed and pest animal control affects you as a landholder. What are you now required to do and what are Council’s and Local Land Services’ responsibilities? What are the local priority weeds and pest animals for this area and what is being done to reduce their impact? Learn what help is available to you to manage weeds and pest animals on your place. This is your chance to ask all the questions you need to ask with the experts on hand to help.
Participants are welcome to bring unknown weeds for identification (in a ziplock bag) and/or photos of any animals you’d like to identify, or their scats and tracks.
