Wetland Forum Flyer

If you’re a volunteer, landholder or individual who is interested in coastal wetland ecology and management, this is the event for you. Click on the flyer to the left and read below for more information about the upcoming Community Wetland Forum. 

A Community Wetland Forum will be held in Mourya on 31 July, run by the South East Wetland Carers Network.

There will be expert presenters from wetland related fields, including:

• Geoff Sainty (Sainty and Associates)
• Kerry-lee Rogers (University of Wollongong)
• Paul Martin (Eurobodalla Shire Council)

There will be two field trips to wetland areas adjacent to the Tomaga River at Tomakin.

Participants will learn about a rehabilitation project implemented by Mogo Local Aboriginal Land Council and saltmarsh ecology from one of Australia’s foremost wetland experts – Geoff Sainty.
