Projects should commence in October 2016 and finish in June 2017.<\/p>\n<p>Up to $50,000 is available for individual projects that:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>protect or improve the condition of native vegetation along watercourses estuaries,\u00a0wetlands or priority biodiversity corridors<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>improve habitat condition and connectivity for threatened species, including the\u00a0long-nosed potoroo, through combined monitoring and fox control in the\u00a0Tanja-Narooma area<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>reduce impacts of pest animals through group based pest control activities.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Activities that will be funded include fencing, revegetation, weed control and group baiting.\u00a0Public and private landholders\/managers and community groups are encouraged to apply for incentives.<\/p>\n<p>To obtain an information package, including assessment criteria, please contact Shannon Brennan, South East Local Land Services on (02) 6491 7823 or email <a href=\"mailto:shannon.brennan@lls.nsw.gov.au\">Shannon.Brennan@lls.nsw.gov.au.<\/a> Applications close on 25 September 2016.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>South East Local Land Services has Catchment Action NSW and Australian Government incentive funding available for land managers to undertake biodiversity, native vegetation and threatened species improvement projects within the Bega Valley and Eurobodalla shires.
