Fresh scats are sent to the University of Sydney for analysis and the information is used to make decisions relating to land and fire management that could have an impact on the future of the koalas.<\/p>\n<p>The next opportunity for volunteers to join the survey team is\u00a0<strong>Wednesday 27 and Thursday 28 July, from 8.30am to 3.30pm<\/strong>.
