Your design can then be adapted at home to build habitat boxes for other species.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<div style=\"color: #000000;\"><\/div>\n<div style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: tahoma, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-family: tahoma, sans-serif;\">Sugar Gliders and many species of bats use tree hollows for breeding or roosting. With the number of natural tree hollows declining, supplementary hollows can be provided by installing habitat boxes.<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n<div style=\"color: #000000;\"><\/div>\n<div style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: tahoma, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-family: tahoma, sans-serif;\">Encouraging Sugar gliders and micro bats to live and breed on your property can help with natural pest control. Sugar gliders are one of the principal predators of Christmas beetles which\u00a0can swarm, defoliate and kill native plantings.\u00a0A single micro bat can catch hundreds of\u00a0mosquitos and small insects in a night.<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n<div style=\"color: #000000;\"><\/div>\n<div style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: tahoma, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-family: tahoma, sans-serif;\">This workshop is free, with materials and morning tea\u00a0provided.<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n<div style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: tahoma, sans-serif;\">Spaces are limited.
