This day marks the date of the adoption of the Convention on Wetlands on 2 February 1971, in the Iranian city of Ramsar.\u00a0The theme for World Wetlands Day in 2016 is<strong> Wetlands for our Future: Sustainable Livelihoods<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>To celebrate this day in the Bega Valley, there will be a free workshop at <strong>Panboola<\/strong> &#8211; Pambula Wetlands and Heritage Project called <strong>&#8220;Who&#8217;s Living on My Land&#8221;<\/strong>. Hear about the wildlife living in and around your wetland and learn to use a motion sensitive camera.<\/p>\n<p>The workshop is on <strong>Tuesday 2 February from 10am-3.30pm<\/strong>.
