CMN members range from those with small but important patches of vegetation to large tracts of bushland.<\/p>\n<p>They may be managing the vegetation to reduce erosion on the banks of creeks or rivers, provide habitat for native fauna or look after an endangered ecological community. Some have formal conservation agreements protecting their vegetation and are supported by the CMN to improve and maintain these areas.<\/p>\n<p>Many members who are primary producers manage their native vegetation to improve livestock\u00a0health and production outcomes and to\u00a0ensure the longer term sustainability of their farms.<\/p>\n<p>Some members have received financial support and entered into management contracts with organisations such as Local Land Services, Southern Rivers Catchment Management Authority, Bega Valley Shire Council or NSW National Parks and Wildlife service. The CMN supports them to implement on ground works with practical workshops, best practice information and advice.
